A single lancet depicting the standing figure of St Hilda, founder and Abbess of Whitby Abbey. She holds a bible and a crozier, and is crowned signifying her role as abbess of Whitby Abbey and her royal blood having been born into the Deiran house. The window is rather restrained for the Bacon Studios, lacking the usual elaborate architectonic niches.

The window is dedicated to the life and work of Isabella Beveridge, for forty years headmistress of the Tomlinson Girls School in Rothbury who died on 15th January 1927.

The window is is signed Percy Bacon, London.
