Christ Church lies about 6 miles to the north west of Ross-on-Wye and was built in 1864 to replace the c13/14 St John the Baptist church which suffered from constant flooding from the nearby River Gamber. Christ Church is blessed to have a number of c16 netherlandish roundels, recovered from the now ruined St John the Baptist..

There are three windows attributed to Percy Bacon & Bros in the polygonal chancel of Christ Church, Llanwarne. These are relatively small windows of two lights each with single simple six-pointed star central tracery light. These depict:
  • Adoration of the Shepherds - "Unto us a child is born"
  • Crucifixion - "It is finished".
  • Appearance to Mary Magdalene - "I am not yet risen".

Each window follows the same framing design and the standard Bacon style; intricate canopies with wide columns framing both lights together, rather than individually, the scene flowing across the mullion, and kneeling angels to the bottom corners. The style of the figurative work suggests these are not by Percy Bacon himself. Only the Appearance window has a dedication. Each of the top tracery lights depicts an angel holding a scroll with a passage from scripture. None of the windows are signed.

The windows are dedicated to Walter Baskerville Mynors, rector of Christ Church 1855 to 1896. They were given by his widow and children.
