There is a single Percy Bacon window at St Gregory's, only one of two stained windows in the church, the other being by A. K. Nicholson. This simple window of three lancets with trefoil heads is rather late in the output of the studio having been installed circa 1930. The window of three lights depicts the standing figures of a young Virgin Mary, Christ Consoler and St Joseph as an old man. Above each figure a scroll;

BVM: "Be it unto me according to Thy word". (Luke 1:38).
Christ: "Come unto Me all that labour". (Matt. 11:28).
Joseph: "Joseph did as the angel of the lord had bidden him". (Matt. 1:24).

The inscription reads

"To the dear and honoured memory or Robert Orbell 1832-1909;
Alethea Orbell 1841-1921; William Sparrow Orbell 1864-1930
."

In the predella a coat of arms in garter, as yet unidentified.

The model for St Joseph is similar to that used for St Peter at St Peter's, Caversham, Berkshire.

The window is signed, "PERCY BACON LONDON".
