A simple memorial cross designed by Percy Bacon. The crafman/manufacturer is unknown. The base of the cross originally bore the names of thirty-nine of the men of Earls Colne who were killed during the Great War.1 The cross was unveiled on Sunday 26th June 1921.

The cross stands in a small, neat garden, close to the lychgate of St Andrew's church.
